Young Woman Found Dead Is Identified By Police
Her body was found Tuesday morning next to a Herndon-area parking garage.

The Fairfax County police announced Wednesday that they have identified the deceased young woman who was found next to a Herndon-area parking garage.
Detectives said her name is Brooke Lee Lancaster, 19, of Ashburn. Her body was discovered at about 7 a.m. Tuesday by a man walking in the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard, on the grass next to an eight-story parking garage.

The police said they have determined there was no foul play or suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, and no public safety threat. The case remains under investigation.
The young woman had suffered “obvious head trauma,” the police said Tuesday in a statement, but a medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of her death.

The parking garage is near an IBM office and an apartment complex off Sunrise Valley Drive, just south of the Dulles Toll Road.
