The 52-year-old man received a largely suspended five-year sentence plus additional firearm-related time after pleading guilty, and authorities detailed how the investigation tied a recovered shotgun and shells to the incident.
   

• Henry County Fair returns Sept. 23-26 (henrycountyenterprise.com) — Families in and around Bassett can look forward to the Henry County Fair returning to Martinsville Speedway from Sept. 23-26, with dozens of rides, concerts, and ground shows.
