• Suspected DUI driver charged for wrong-way crash on I-270 that killed mother, daughter (fox5dc.com) — A Burke mother has been identified among two Virginia residents killed when a suspected drunk driver going the wrong way on I-270 in Maryland struck their car head-on Saturday evening. Her 23-year-old daughter from Alexandria also died, while two other family members survived with injuries. The Mustang driver faces multiple serious charges as police investigate alcohol impairment.
