Assistance League Information Session
Assistance League Information Session

If you are looking for a way to make a difference in your community, consider becoming a member of Assistance League of Northern Virginia. Just drop by our “Open House” information session at the Oakton Library on Thursday, October 14, any time between 10:30 and noon and learn all about our philanthropic programs and the amazing volunteers who make them happen. For more than 17 years, our programs have been providing much-needed relief, such as food, clothing, shoes, books, and reading tutoring, to students at 11 elementary schools in Fairfax and Prince William counties and the city of Alexandria. Members will be available to showcase our programs, to answer your questions, and to explain how you can help the most vulnerable in our community. We need volunteers to provide both hands-on help and to do some behind-the scenes tasks.
