Assistance League Provides New Clothing For Kids

Variety of Items Distributed to Non-profit's Partner Schools

Volunteers with Assistance League of Northern Virginia (ALNV) gathered recently to assemble bundles of clothing items for schools that the charity serves. The members are excellent shoppers with keen eyes for bargains and had assembled a wide and colorful variety of shirts for boys and girls, as well as winter jackets. These items were paired with leggings, underwear, and socks and have been delivered to counselors at the schools served by Assistance League. This is the charity’s first major clothing donation since the pandemic. Now that schools have returned to classroom instruction, Assistance League members are sure that students, parents, and teachers will welcome this delivery of needed clothes. The nonprofit hopes to continue providing students with essential new clothing items during the remainder of the school year. For more information visit www.alnv.org
