Burke House Fire Causes No Injuries, Displaces 2
Fairfax County and Rescue traced the fire back to hot charcoal briquettes in the garage.

BURKE, VA — No one was injured during a house fire Sunday in Burke, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
Units responded to the 6300 block of Four Oaks Lane around 9:42 p.m. to find heavy fire coming from the garage of a single-family home. Crews worked to put out the fire and limit extension into the home.
Two residents were home when the fire occurred. The residents saw smoke and flames in the garage and safely evacuated.

Fire investigators determined the cause of the blaze to be hot charcoal briquettes improperly disposed into a combustible container. Damages were estimated to be $350,000. Two residents were displaced due to the fire.
