Burke Resident Hears Noise, Discovers Burglar in Home: Police

Fairfax County Police say they arrested a Falls Church area man Tuesday for burglary of a Burke home.

The incident took place in the 5200 block of Bradfield Drive (see map below), Tuesday at about 7:06 p.m. That’s when a resident heard a noise and encountered a man inside the residence, police said.

The suspect fled and was caught by police outside the home, police said.

Police say Kevin Gomez, 19 of Falls Church, was arrested and charged with burglary, destruction of property and drunk in public.
