Bring your Mother or a Mother-Figure in your life and enjoy an afternoon of delightful teas and treats as we celebrate the Women who made us who we are.Fathers and Grandfathers are welcome!
Cost: Adults, youth 13 and older $20; children 6-12 years old $10; children under 6 free
Tea, sandwiches, sweet treats, and fruits and vegetables will be served. 
Guests are invited to wear a creative, unusual or favorite hat.

All Boys ages 11-17 who are interested in Scouts BSA are invited to attend an Open House at the Burke United Methodist Church (BUMC) on Tuesday, 12 May from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Parents are also welcome to attend. This Open House/ meeting will focus on learning about kayaks as well as knots, lashings and trebuchet. This event is hosted by Boy Troop 1347. 
Troop 1347 is chartered by VFW Post 5412, Burke VA. Our troop offers great opportunities for youth to gain leadership skills, while experiencing the aims of Scouting: character development, citizenship, and personal fitness.&nbsp;
No affiliation with BUMC, nor prior Scouting experience is required to join Troop 1347.

Kiddie Academy of Burke will host STEM Adventures on Saturday, May 16 at 2 p.m. in conjunction with its grand opening celebration. Families of children ages 2 and up are invited to attend this free event to participate in several hands-on, play-based activities focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.&nbsp;
