Cell Phone Thieves Target Local Stores: Police
Detectives are searching for three people believed to be stealing phones around Fairfax County.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—Three suspects are on the loose for a string of cell phone thefts around Fairfax County. Detectives say the suspects stole cell phones on display and behind the counters of wireless stores around the county.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspects and are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspects. They are believed to be driving a silver or gray card pictured below.
Police have not released names of the stores targeted but ask anyone who recognize the suspects to call Detective Jewett at 703-644-7377. Anonymous tipsters on Crime Solvers could receive a $100-$1,000 reward if their information leads to an arrest.
