Coffee With A Cop Comes To Burke In December

BURKE, VA — The Fairfax County Police Department is planning its next Coffee with a Cop event in Burke. Officers will be at the Dunkin' Donuts, 6050 Burke Commons Rd Suite H, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The event allows residents to meet West Springfield Police District officers in a casual setting for discussions or questions. All ages are welcome at the event.

The Hawthorne Police Department launched Coffee with a Cop in 2011 as a way for officers and residents to interact outside of crime-related and emergency situations. Since then, Coffee with a Cop has grown internationally to help police departments bolster community policing.
