Deli Italiano Replaces Fired Up Pizza In Burke

BURKE, VA—Italian restaurant Deli Italiano has replaced Fired Up Pizza in Burke. The restaurant recently opened at 9413 Old Burke Lake Rd, Burke. Fired Up Pizza closed in 2018.

"We believe in feeding the community, both by serving great, fresh food every day and by being there for our neighbors," Deli Italiano Burke owner Yassar Baslios said in a statement. "The Deli Italiano family is thrilled to be a part of the Burke community and we look forward to welcoming new customers and friends."

Deli Italiano offers a menu of pizzas, sandwiches, build-your-own pastas and calzones, salads and wraps The restaurant chain also supports local schools and nonprofits through fundraisers.

Deli Italiano opened in Great Falls in 1990 and has expanded around Northern Virginia. This is the Northern Virginia-based chain's sixth restaurant. Other locations include Arlington, Leesburg, Sterling and the flagship restaurant in Great Falls.
