Driver Injured In Crash With Empty School Bus In West Springfield
A van driver was injured after the van hit a school bus with no students aboard.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA — One person was injured when a van struck a school bus without any students aboard in West Springfield Friday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash was reported on southbound Fairfax County Parkway at Stream Way in West Springfield. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said the van hit the back of the school bus.
The van driver was trapped in the vehicle and extricated by the fire department. The driver was evaluated by medics and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
