The Garden Club of Virginia hosts its 70th Annual Lily Show, Where Past and Present Intersect, June 20 and 21 in Burke, Virginia.
Lovers of lilies from around the Commonwealth will be exhibiting over 60 floral arrangements and hundreds of colorful lily stems.
The 70th Annual Show features artistic arrangements whose styles reflect the history and urban growth of Fairfax County, vivid horticultural sections, educational opportunities and a shopping boutique.

The artistic section showcases arrangements that range from Woodlawn's classic 19th century style to contemporary styles that echo the architecture of Dulles International Airport.
Novice gardeners will examine the "true scale lily of the genus Lilium" and learn growing tips from experienced lily growers.

The Lily Show offers a visual kaleidscope of color in what has been described as "the best flower show venue in the greater Washington area".
Admission is free. The show is open to the public on Wednesday, April 20, 2 - 6 p.m., and Thursday, April 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It takes place in the exhibit hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 9350 Braddock Road at Olley Lane.
This WOW factor flower show that specilizes in lillies is hosted by The Garden Club of Fairfax assisted by the North American Lily Society.
