Dairy Queen is offering a coupon for a free small, vanilla cone for the first day of spring at participating, non-mall locations. The coupon is good all day Tuesday, March 20, and the limit is one per person. Go to the website for a copy of the coupon, as well.

For the 26th year, Rita's Ice is marking the start of spring with one free Italian ice per person. Customers can also upgrade to a gelato with vanilla, chocolate, cotton candy or mint custard for $1.
The closest Rita's Italian Ice is located at 10726 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax. Tuesday hours are noon-9 p.m.
