George Mason University: Public Safety Training Exercises And Helicopter Landings Planned For Fairfax Campus Friday

The Fairfax Campus will host a large-scale public safety training exercise Friday, July 30, with the FBI and other federal, regional and local public safety agencies from 6 a.m. to midnight. Mason Police will also participate in the exercise. Most of the activity will be at EagleBank Arena and the Center for the Arts. As part of the drill, BlackHawk helicopters are expected to land at West Campus, weather permitting. Members of the campus community may see members of law enforcement on campus from these agencies as part of the training exercise.
