Long & Foster Real Estate Burke a Drop-Off Site for Operation Deploy Your Dress
Drop off your formal attire and accessories now thru April 3, 2026
Long & Foster Real Estate’s Burke office is proud to once again serve as a local drop-off site for Operation Deploy Your Dress (ODYD), a nonprofit organization that provides FREE formal attire to military ID card holders of all ranks and branches of service.
Operation Deploy Your Dress hosts pop-up boutique events where active-duty service members and military families can select formal gowns, tuxedos, and accessories at no cost for military balls and other special occasions. The DC/NOVA Pop-Up event will take place on April 26, 2026, at AUSA Headquarters in Arlington.
Now through April 3, 2026, the Long & Foster Burke office is collecting:

- Formal dresses (all sizes)
- Tuxedos
- Formal accessories such as jewelry, shawls, and purses
Gently used and new items are welcome.
The Long & Foster Burke office team said they are honored to support an initiative that directly benefits military families in the community. “Providing formal attire may seem simple, but it can make a meaningful difference for those who serve.”

Community members are encouraged to look through their closets and consider donating items that could help a military family celebrate a special occasion.
