Man Attacked While Working On Car In Burke
One minute the man was working on his car and the next unknown men threw him to the ground.

BURKE, VA—A man had been working on his car in Burke when he was assaulted and threatened with a knife Monday afternoon, police say.
The man had been outside in the 9500 block of Burke Road when the two unknown suspects approached around 3 p.m. One of the men threw the victim to the ground while the other pulled out a knife.
The victim tried to grab the knife and got cut on his hand in the process. The suspects then fled. No suspect descriptions or arrests have been announced.

In other news around the area, police are also investigating a pharmacy robbery in West Springfield. Reports indicate a man jumped over the counter at the CVS (8330 Old Keene Mill Road) around 8:20 p.m. Monday. The unknown suspect fled with medications. Police were not able to immediately locate him.
