Man Charged For Carjacking In West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA—A Woodbridge man has been charged for carjacking a driver in West Springfield Tuesday night.

Around 11:33 p.m., the victim parked his car in the 6200 block of Hidden Woods Court and was approached by the charged man. The man asked for a cigarette and got into the passenger seat. Implying he had a gun, the man demanded the victim get out of the car. No injuries to the driver were reported.

The man drove off in the car, which officers tracked down in the area of Tall Trees Lane. Officers pulled the car over and arrested the man.

Dave Loiseau, 18, was charged with carjacking.
