Springfield Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Fairfax Station: Police
The passenger, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fairfax County Police. The male driver, 18, slammed into a tree.

FAIRFAX STATION, VA ā A passenger was killed Thursday night when a vehicle ran off the road and slammed into a tree in the 7600 block of Clifton Road, according to Fairfax County Police, who are seeking witnesses.
Estrada Izaguirre, 21, of Springfield was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old Springfield man, was taken to an area hospital with injuries that weren't life threatening.

Around 10 p.m., police responded to the scene and found that a 2007 VW Golf was headed east on Clifton Road when the driver crested a hill and lost control of the car. Speed appears to be a factor.
