Man Stabbed After Asking Woman To Dance: Police
Police say a fight broke out in the Franconia area after a man asked a woman to dance.
FRANCONIA, VA—A Burke man is facing charges after stabbing a man over a dance request Sunday.
The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. in the 6100 block of Franconia Road. Police say a man approached a woman and asked to dance. The woman's partner became upset, and a fight broke out.
During the fight, the woman's partner stabbed the other man. Police say the attacker remained on scene until police arrived. Pedro Rivera, 54, of Burke was arrested and charged with malicious bodily injury. He was held on no bond.
