Monty's Steakhouse Is Closing In West Springfield

The steakhouse will have extended hours and farewell toasts on the last two days of business.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA—Monty's Steakhouse, an independently-owned restaurant at the Old Keene Mill Shopping Center in West Springfield, will close after Saturday, Jan. 12.

The restaurant announced the closure in a Facebook post. Patrons are invited for farewell toasts on Friday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 12. There will be extended hours on both days.

Led by Donna Montazami and Chef Marco Camacho, the restaurant opened in 2011. The restaurant was inspired and named after Montazami's parents Monty and Parvaneh.

Montazami, who has lived in the neighborhood since 1983, prided herself on the customer experience, whether it be for casual, business or special occasion dining. The restaurant served a variety of signature steaks and other offerings like Chilean sea bass, Peruvian ceviche, soups and more.
