Jersey Mike's Subs To Open In Burke This August

BURKE, VA—Jersey Mike's Subs, a sandwich chain with locations around the DC area, will open Wednesday, Aug. 29 at at 6025-C Burke Centre Parkway in Burke. During the grand opening celebration, it will hold a fundraiser for Terra Centre Elementary PTA.

To celebrate the grand opening, franchise owner Chris Brown and operator Khristi Edwards will hold the free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, Aug. 29 to Sunday, Sept. 2. Jersey Mike's is circulating 5,000 coupons throughout the community for a free regular sub in return for a minimum $2 contribution to Terra Centre Elementary PTA. Customers must have a coupon to get the promotion.

Jersey Mike's aims not only to offer quality foods customer service, but give back to the community, according to a press release. Terra Centre Elementary PTA is located just across the street from the new restaurant. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations have raised $34 million for local charities and given out 2 million free subs.

Menu offerings range from cold deli subs, wraps and hot subs all made to order. The restaurant offers a selection of sides and drinks as well as catering.
