Pet's Owner Pulls Gun on 2 Who Ask to Pet Dog, Police Say

It was after 4 a.m. when two men approached man walking dog

Fairfax County Police say a man walking his dog pulled a gun on two people who asked to pet the dog.

The incident took place Sunday in the early morning hours, at 4:07 a.m., at Forrester Boulevard and Surrey Hill Place, according to police.

The two victims were walking and encountered a man walking a dog, police said. The victims engaged the man in conversation asking to pet the dog, according to police. That’s when the suspect produced a handgun and pointed it at the victims, police said.

The victims fled and called police.

Officers checked the area with negative results, police said. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years age, wearing a white hoodie and black sweatpants. The dog was described as a white and brown-colored Pitbull.
