Resident Awakens to Burglar in Home: Police
Police say a resident woke up in the middle of the night Wednesday to the sounds of a burglar in the home.
Fairfax County Police are investigating a burglary that took place early Wednesday in the area.
Police say that the incident took place in the 6500 block of Alexis Lane (see map below) Wednesday at about 2:37 a.m.
A resident awoke to a sound and located an unknown man in the residence, police said. The suspect fled and was described as black male in his 20s, according to police. The victim did not require any medical attention.
