Shepherd's Center of Fairfax-Burke 10-Year Anniversary Sept. 25

BURKE, VA ā An non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the life of elderly residents will be holding its 10th anniversary celebration Sept. 25 with an invitation-only affair that'll include dinner and a musical.
The Shepherd's Center of Fairfax-Burke gala is set for 5 p.m. at the Country Club of Fairfax at 5110 Ox Road.
In 10 years, the organization has gone from 20 volunteers to 160.

According to a release, the Shepherd's Center of America was founded in 1972 in Kansas City and has expanded nationally. Northern Virginia has five off-shoots.
