Sobriety Checkpoint Scheduled This Weekend in West Springfield Police District
Area includes Annandale, Burke, Burke Centre, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Lorton and West Springfield.
Fairfax County Police announced Tuesday that there will be a sobriety checkpoint conducted this weekend in the West Springfield Police District.
The checkpoint will take place Friday night, but police do not disclose the location beforehand. (Click here to see map of West Springfield Police District.)
The West Springfield Police District is 68 square miles and it includes Annandale, Burke, Burke Centre, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Lorton and West Springfield.
It contains George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College Annandale campus, Lake Accotink Park, Burke Lake Park, Fountainhead Regional Park, Wakefield and South Run Recreation Centers.
