Suspect Strikes 3 Police Cars During Chase
Suspect from DC was arrested on multiple charges after police stopped him in a cul-de-sac early Sunday off of Carrleigh Parkway.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A DC man struck three police cruisers this weekend in the Springfield area after failing to stop for and fleeing, according to Fairfax County Police.
Officers charged a 30-year-old, District of Columbia man, after a pursuit that began around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.
A 1996 Toyota sedan was observed with improper license plates and the driver was suspected of being under the influence, police said. Multiple officers attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver ignored the officers’ orders to stop, and fled, according to police.

During the incident, three Fairfax County Police cruisers sustained damaged after being struck by the suspect vehicle multiple times, police said. No officers were injured.
The incident ended in a cul-de-sac located off of Carrleigh Parkway (see map below) at 2:33 a.m., with the suspect being taken into custody, police said. The driver sustained minor injuries during the pursuit and was transported to a local hospital, according to police. He was released a short time later and then transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The driver, Torrie Lee Wilson was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, assault on law enforcement, speed to elude, no operator’s license, and improper registration.
Police did not release a photo of the suspect Monday.
