Burke Teen Dies, 2 Others Injured In Clifton Crash: Police
BREAKING: Police say one teen has died and two were injured after their car struck a tree Tuesday afternoon.

A Burke teenager has died and two others were injured when their car struck a tree Tuesday afternoon in Clifton, police say.
The crash happened around 1:55 p.m. at Fairfax Station Road near Colewood Estates Road. The car was heading west on Fairfax Station Road when it went off the road and hit the tree.
Two of the teens had life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital by helicopter. One of them, the 17-year-old driver from Burke, died overnight. The other teen remains in the hospital. The third had non-life threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police believe speed may have contributed to the crash but do not believe alcohol was involved. The investigation continues.
