Two Injured During Separate Home Invasions in Burke: Police

Fairfax Police say the incidents don't appear to be random, and four suspects are at large.

BURKE, VA — Police are looking for four masked people dressed in all black who attacked their victims with a machete in two separate home invasions in Burke early Friday morning that left two men injured with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Fairfax Police.

The first incident was reported shortly before 2 a.m. in the 6300 block of Fenestra Court, and second incident was reported a little more than an hour later at the 6300 block of Birch Leaf Court.

Three of the suspects are described as Hispanic, in their 20s, about 5-6 and 160 pounds. The other suspect is described as black, light skinned, in his 20s, about 6-0 and 200 pounds.

In the first incident, according to police, the suspects forced their way into the residence, assaulted a 28-year-old man and took property.

In the second incident, the same suspects forced their way into the residence and assaulted a 62-year-old man before fleeing on foot to a waiting vehicle.
