Uber Driver Thwarts Armed Carjacking In Springfield: Police
When one of the suspects pulled out a gun, the driver quickly thought up a way to get out of the carjacking.

SPRINGFIELD, VAāAn Uber driver managed to fight off two armed robbers during a trip in Springfield Saturday.
The driver picked up the two men at 7:13 p.m. around Clydesdale Road and Mitcham Court. Not long afterward, one of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the car.
Rather than surrender the car, the driver accelerated and tossed the suspects out of an open door. Police have not made any arrests. The suspects were described as average build in their early 20s.
