Friends of Assistance League of Northern Virginia have been so generous in your support and its members THANK YOU from the bottom of their collective hearts. That’s why the charity wants you to know: YOU’RE THE TOP! YOU MATTER!

Thanks to your generosity, and despite the pandemic, Assistance League members have been working steadily to feed hundreds of families in need in Fairfax and Prince William Counties and the City of Alexandria. But the need is great and the charity’s resources are dwindling. Assistance League asks for your help to continue serving those most in need.

Since April 2020, despite the pandemic, the nonprofit has provided more than 7,800 grocery gift cards valued at more than $152,000; nearly 3,400 new books to students at 11 schools; some 2,100 items of new clothing and 5,000 toiletry items, as well as 1,200 heart-shaped pillows packed with books, crayons, stickers and other goodies that bring comfort and joy to young children.
