Winter Wonderland at Burke Lake Park Begins Saturday
It's this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with the same hours the following weekend. Pre-registration is suggested.
FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Beginning this weekend, Burke Lake Park will turn itself into Santa's Christmas village at the North Pole — or something like that.
Yep, it's time for the Winter Wonderland at Burke Lake Park, which begins a four-day run over the next two weekends 10 a.m. Saturday.
The park's carousel has renamed the Carolers Carousel, its miniature steam-engine train ride has been renamed the Holiday Express, and its mini-golf course has been renamed Gingerbread Man Golf.

Santa will be on hand, as will hot chocolate, candy canes and other festivities.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the events, although pre-registration is urged.
