• Suspect On The Run Caught After Law Summons Drone (thecreweburkevillejournal.com) — A high-speed overnight chase cut straight through Burkeville, with a fleeing pickup racing along East Nunnally Street, passing the volunteer fire department, and crashing after going off-road near Burke's Tavern Road. Deputies, a K9 team, and a drone from Amelia County eventually tracked and arrested the suspect in nearby woods, leading to felony eluding and property damage charges.
