• ICE Arrests Guatemalan Brothers With Criminal Records in Chantilly, Virginia (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Federal immigration officers recently arrested two Guatemalan brothers in Chantilly, saying both have prior criminal records in the United States, including domestic assault, DWIs, assault and forgery. ICE released few details about their immigration histories or what comes next, but emphasized that Northern Virginia, including Chantilly, remains a focus of ongoing enforcement operations.
• A Nondescript Warehouse in Chantilly Houses 1,000 Bob Ross Paintings (northernvirginiamag.com) — A low-key warehouse in Chantilly quietly holds about 1,000 original Bob Ross paintings and serves as headquarters for Bob Ross Inc., keeping the artist's legacy alive in Northern Virginia. While commuters pass by unaware, staff inside manage licensing, art supplies, and preservation of his work, maintaining Chantilly's surprising role as the center of the Bob Ross universe.
