• Chantilly Woman In Wheelchair ID'd In Fatal Route 50 Crash (patch.com) — Residents in Chantilly are mourning 53-year-old Theresa Flynn, a local woman who used a mobility wheelchair and died after being struck by a car while crossing Route 50 near Plaza Lane. Fairfax County police say speed and alcohol do not initially appear to be factors, and crash reconstruction detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward as they support Flynn's family.
   

• Firefighter injured in Chantilly house fire, officials say (dcnewsnow.com) — A firefighter suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized after crews battled a Saturday morning house fire on the 42700 block of Freedom Street in Chantilly, where smoke was pouring from a single-family home. Residents were not hurt, the flames were brought under control within a few hours, and investigators are still working to determine what caused the blaze.
   

• Detectives Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Greenbriar (fcpdnews.org) — A Chantilly woman using a mobility wheelchair died after being struck by a car while crossing Route 50 near Plaza Lane in Greenbriar Friday evening. Fairfax County police say speed and alcohol don't appear to be factors for the driver and are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has camera footage to contact the Crash Reconstruction Unit or submit an anonymous tip.
