Lawrence Park in Chantilly on Saturday, Oct. 10, with free admission, live music, food trucks, and craft beer from noon to 5 p.m. Families can enjoy kids' activities, local vendors, and leashed pets are welcome, with multiple free parking options and easy walking or biking access to the festival area.

Lawrence Park is hosting a free ParktoberFest this Saturday with live music, food trucks, and family activities. Legendary fighter takes final flight, Air Force Reserve delivers F-117A to Smithsonian (af.mil) — A retired F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter has been transported by Air Force Reserve crews to the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, where it will join the museum's permanent collection. The complex cross-country airlift required carefully balancing the disassembled jet inside a C-5M Super Galaxy before landing at Dulles International Airport.
