• Water Main Break Triggers Boil Water Advisory in Parts of Chatham, Virginia, as Four Schools Receive Drinking Water (medicaldaily.com) — Parts of Chatham are under a boil-water advisory after a Sept. 28 water main break near Chatham High School, affecting several neighborhoods and four Pittsylvania County schools. Residents in the listed areas should boil tap water for at least one minute before use, follow special precautions for babies and vulnerable people, and check the Town of Chatham website or call town offices to learn when the advisory is lifted.
