• Halifax County Sheriff's Office K-9 finds missing 89-year-old (yourgv.com) — An 89-year-old man reported missing off Mosley Ferry Road in the Clover area was safely found Thursday afternoon after Halifax County deputies and K-9 Maddy tracked him about 200 yards from his home. Clover Volunteer Fire Department members checked him over, and he appeared to be OK before being reunited with his family, thanks to quick teamwork among local emergency crews.
