• Bright Green Fireball Lights Up Sky Over Southern Maryland, Reports Stretch Across Mid-Atlantic (thebaynet.com) — A bright green fireball seen across the Mid-Atlantic early Wednesday was also reported in Dale City, where a resident's camera caught a flash at 2:38 a.m. The meteor-like event generated similar reports from Northern Virginia, Maryland, and D.C., and astronomers may use shared videos to better understand its path.
