ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Del Ray Artisans gallery will open an exhibit Friday at the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, featuring original works for sale for $125 or less.
An opening reception on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. will allow art lovers to meet curators Dale Spivey and Liz Martinez, along with exhibiting artists. The exhibit will run through Nov. 29.
Art will be sold on an art-to-go basis, meaning buyers can take their purchases home rather than waiting until the exhibit ends.
The gallery is free to enter and open to the public. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and noon to 9 p.m. Fridays. It will also open Wednesday, Nov. 25, from noon to 6 p.m. and will be closed Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving.
Alexandria's FY2027 Annual Arts Program Grant supports the exhibit.
