A look at crime in the Del Ray area in the last week

The following information came from the Alexandria Police Department via www.crimereports.org.

Sept. 1 — At 9 p.m., a window air-conditioning unit was stolen from the side yard of a residence on the 2400 block of Leslie Avenue.

Sept. 2 — Compact discs, perfume and change were taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of W. Masonic View Drive at 10:10 a.m.

Sept. 3 — An assault occurred on the 3600 block of Edison Street between two or more people.

Sept. 5 — A known suspect removed personal property from a private residence at 7:04 p.m. on the 300 block of Wesmond Drive.

Sept. 6 — A burglary was reported at 11:34 a.m. on the 100 block of E. Reed Avenue.

Sept. 6 — At 8:30 p.m., unknown suspect removed an unsecured bicycle in a left/larceny offense on the 2400 block of Leslie Avenue.

Sept. 6 — At 9 p.m., an unknown suspect removed unsecured property from a private residence on the 100 block of W. Luray Avenue.

Sept. 7 — An unknown suspect removed personal property from an unlocked vehicle in the Potomac Yard shopping center parking lot at 8:37 a.m.

Sept. 7 — A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 1:45 p.m. on the 400 block of E. Monroe Avenue.
