A look at crime in the Del Ray area in the last week

The following information came from the Alexandria Police Department via www.crimereports.com.

Sept. 8 — An unknown suspect removed personal property from an unlocked vehicle at 9:45 a.m. on the first block of West Glebe Road.

Sept. 8 — An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and removed personal property at 10:50 a.m. on the 300 block of North View Terrace.

Sept. 8 — A forcible sex offense was committed on the 200 block of Luna Park Drive at 1:42 p.m. To protect the victim's privacy, the narrative for this case is not available at this time.

Sept. 8 — An unsecured bicycle was taken from the backyard of a residence on the 100 block of West Rosemont Avenue at 7:32 p.m.

Sept. 9 — At 10:49 a.m., two bicycles were taken from the front yard of a residence on the 2400 block of Burke Avenue. The bicycles were not locked or secured.

Sept. 12 —A woman on the 300 block of Wesmond Drive reported that a lawnmower chained to her deck was stolen from her residence at 4 p.m.

Sept. 14 — A theft was reported at 10:43 a.m. on the first block of West Maple Street.

Sept. 14 — A theft was reported at 2:53 p.m. on the 400 block of Swann Avenue.

Sept. 14 — A theft was reported at 9:11 p.m. on the first block of East Reed Avenue.
