Crime Report: Vehicle Thefts on E. Alexandria Avenue

Nov. 6 — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 3800 block of Russell Road at 8:06 a.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 5 — An arrest was made for embezzlement in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 11:05 p.m.

Nov. 5 — A fraud offense was reported at E. Glebe Road and Montrose Avenue at 8:51 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 5 — A robbery was reported in the 3600 block of Edison Street at 5:25 p.m. The case is open.

Nov. 5 — An assault was reported in the 700 block of Tennessee Avenue at 4:01 p.m. The case is open.

Nov. 5 — A victim reported that an unknown suspect or suspects stole his bicycle from the porch of his residence in the 300 block of E. Bellefonte Avenue at 12:32 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 4 — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of E. Alexandria Avenue at 10:09 a.m. The case is pending. 

Nov. 3 — An assault between two people who were known to each other or had a prior relationship was reported in the 100 block of Dale Street at 1:25 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 3 — A vehicle the was reported stolen was recovered in the 400 block of E. Alexandria Avenue at 12:27 p.m. The case is pending. 

Nov. 3 — An arrest was made and a suspect was charged with possession of cocaine at Commonwealth Ave. and Mt. Vernon Ave. at 12:18 a.m. For more information on this report, .

Nov. 2 — Theft  of property from a vehicle was reported in the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 9:20 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 2 — A known subject was arrested for felonious assault on a police officer at Four Mile Road and Mt. Vernon Avenue at 8:50 p.m.

Nov. 1 — A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 4:58 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 1 — Victim reported that an unknown suspect or suspects attempted to steal his vehicle's left front wheel and tire and stole his gas cap in the 1800 block of W. Abingdon Drive at 1:52 p.m. The case is pending.

Nov. 1 — An unknown suspect or suspects entered a victim's vehicle by unknown means, ransacked the interior and took an amplifier. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Hawkins Way at 11:51 a.m. The case is pending.
