Crime Report: Arrest Made in Sexual Offense Incident

Aug. 27 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Hume Street at 11:44 a.m.

Aug. 27 — An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 3700 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 8:26 a.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 26 — An arrest was made for a sexual offense in the 900 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 9:50 p.m.

Aug. 26 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 3100 block of Martha Custis Drive at 4:25 p.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 26 — An arrest was made for theft in the 3800 Jefferson Davis Highway at 2:47 p.m.

Aug. 26 — A theft was reported in the 500 block of E. Custis Avenue at 12:32 p.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 25 — An arrest was made for theft in the 900 block of W. Glebe Road at 5:30 p.m.

Aug. 24 — An arrest was made for an assault involving two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Luna Park Drive at 11:16 p.m.
