January 22 – An assault was reported at 10:55 a.m. in the 3900 block of Bruce Street. The case is pending.

January 21 – An arrest was made for an assault in the 3900 block of Elbert Avenue at 4:13 p.m. 

January 21 – A theft was reported at 12:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of Martha Custis Drive. The case is open.

January 20 – A vehicle was reported stolen at 1:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Dewitt Avenue. The case is pending.

January 18 – A shoplifting offense was reported at 5:00 p.m. in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. The case is open.

January 18 – A theft was reported at 8:35 a.m. in the 2600 block of Commonwealth Avenue. The case is pending.

January 18 – An arrest was made for embezzlement in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 12:07 a.m. 

January 17 – A theft was reported at 10:38 a.m. in the 400 block of Calvert Avenue. The case is pending.

January 17 – An assault occurred at 1:49 a.m. in the 600 block of Four Mile Road between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. 

January 16 – A person reported being assaulted by three unknown people with a knife and who punched him in the face numerous times and stole his cell phone and a wallet containing cash and his ID card. The incident occurred at 11:14 p.m. in the 3900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue. The case is pending.

January 16 – An arrest was made for a shoplifting offense in the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 4:35 p.m.
