Jan. 30 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported at 9:19 a.m. in the 1400 block of Orchard Street. The case is pending.

Jan. 29 — A vehicle that was stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction was recovered in Alexandria at 1:42 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. An arrest was made.

Jan. 25 — An assault occurred between two roommates who were intoxicated at 10:29 p.m. in the 3200 block of Landover Street. The case is pending.

Jan. 24 — A victim reported that unknown person stole two checks from her checkbook and fraudulently cashed them while she was visiting parents in the area. The incident occurred at 11:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Virginia Avenue. The case is open.
