Crime Report: More Thefts From Vehicles

The following arrest information was supplied by the Alexandria Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided to www.crimereports.com by the Alexandria Police Department. Additional details about the most recent crimes were not available at publication time.

Oct. 4 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of E. Oxford Avenue at 1:34 p.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 4 — An assault was reported in the 1000 block of W. Glebe Road at 5:11 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 4 — An assault between two people who were known to each other or had a prior relationship was reported in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue at 12:03 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 3 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Kentucky Avenue at 11:39 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 3 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 3300 block of Old Dominion Boulevard. at 11:02 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 3 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of E. Mt. Ida Avenue at 10:03 am. The case is pending.

Oct. 2 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 200 block of W. Glebe Road at 3:10 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 1 — A forcible sexual assault was reported in the 100 block of Sanborn Place at 4:57 a.m. To protect the victim’s privacy, the narrative for this case is not available at this time. The case is open.

Sept. 30 — Two arrests were made for shoplifting in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 2:52 p.m.

Sept. 30 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of E. Custis Avenue at 2:05 p.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of E. Mt. Ida Avenue at 1:45 p.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of E. Oxford Avenue at 10:16 a.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — Victim reported that two of his family's vehicles were entered by an unknown suspect or suspects and two iPods were stolen from one of the unlocked vehicles parked in front of his residence in the 3100 block of Old Dominion Avenue at 9:51 a.m. The case is open. 

Sept. 30 — Victim reported she inadvertently left her keys in her vehicle and walked to her son's school to deliver his forgotten lunch. Upon her return, she noticed her vehicle doors were locked and keys and cash taken were from the vehicle. The incident occurred in the 100 block of E. Monroe Avenue at 9:08 a.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — An unknown suspect or suspects entered a victim's vehicle by unknown means and stole her credit cards, a GPS unit and an iPod while the vehicle was parked in front of her residence in the 500 block of Kentucky Avenue at 8:28 a.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 200 block of Woodland Terrace at 8:17 a.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — Victim reported that an unknown suspect or suspects entered her locked vehicle by unknown means and her husband's unlocked vehicle and stole part of the radio from her vehicle. Nothing was taken from her husband's vehicle. The incident occurred in the 100 block of E. Oxford Avenue at 8:05 a.m. The case is pending.

Sept. 30 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Chalfonte Drive at 7:52 a.m. The case is pending.
