Crime Report: Purse Snatching in Arlandria

The following information came from the Alexandria Police Department via www.crimereports.com.

Dec. 21 — A woman snatched another woman's purse at 10:42 a.m. on the 3500 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue. An onlooker chased down the purse, but the woman got away. On Dec. 22, the purse-snatcher turned herself into police.

Dec. 22 — An assault occurred at 11:55 a.m. on the 3800 block of Milan Drive. Case is pending.

Dec. 22 — A burglary occurred at 6:12 p.m. on the 1700 block of Osage Street in Fairlington. Case is pending.
