Crime Report: Jug Containing Cash Stolen From Del Ray Avenue Home

Oct. 24 — A theft was reported in the 400 block of E. Braddock Road at 3:50 p.m. The case is open.

Oct. 24 — A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 300 block of E. Monroe Avenue at 3:47 p.m. The case is open.

Oct. 24 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Timber Branch Drive at 10:13 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 23 — A theft was reported in the 500 block of Four Mile Road at 7:14 p.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 22 — An assault was reported in the 3900 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 6:57 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 21 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of E. Duncan Avenue at 6:26 p.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 21 — A fraud offense was reported in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue at 9:03 p.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 20 — A theft was reported in the 700 block of S. Overlook Drive at 8:29 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 20 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 2600 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 1:42 a.m. The case is open.

Oct. 18 — A victim reported that an unknown suspect or suspects stole a large sum of cash from a jug kept in a secluded area of a house in the 200 block of E. Del Ray Avenue at 1:23 p.m. The case is open.

Oct. 18 — Unknown suspects stole a victim's secured moped parked in front of victim's apartment complex in the 3800 block of Russell Road at 11:14 a.m. The case is pending.

Oct. 18 — A victim reported that unknown suspects stole her jacket containing her wallet from a bench in front of her place of work in the 1200 block of Martha Custis Drive while she assisted a resident. The incident occurred at 9:48 a.m. The case is pending.
