Crime Report: Thefts Along Mt. Vernon Avenue

A look at recent crime in the Del Ray area

May 27 – A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 12:10 p.m.

May 27 – An assault was reported in the 600 block of Four Mile Road at 11:47 a.m.

May 27 – A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 3900 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 3:08 a.m.

May 27 – An assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other in the 500 block E. Bellefonte Avenue at 12:31 a.m.

May 26 – A shoplifting offense was reported in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 9:59 p.m.

May 26 – A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 9:51 p.m.

May 26 – A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 5:47 p.m.

May 25 – A shoplifting offense was reported in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 3:15 p.m.

May 24 – A theft was reported in the 200 block of Guthrie Avenue at 10:31 p.m.

May 24 – An assault between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other was reported on Leadbeater Street at 10:24 p.m.

May 24 – A cell phone that was inadvertently left on a store counter while items were being purchased was stolen from a store in the 3800 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 7:05 p.m.

May 24 – A theft was reported in the 500 block of E. Braddock Road at 3:11 p.m.
